Distinguished Bill proves the old adage of not judging a book by it’s cover! This guy may look old and wise, but he’s just five and plays like a happy-go-lucky puppy.
Bill is a people lovin’ pup and would love a household that would throw a ball or rope for him to zooooooooom after. Bill would prefer to be the solo dog in your house and be the sole recipient of dog-directed attention. Bill has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Bill could join a home with children 14 years and older as he can get a little excited and bouncy. Bill has had home experiences and is not fussed about staying home alone for full time hours while his humans work. As long as he has a comfy dog bed and a maybe a treat to chew, this man is happy to snooze the day away. Like a typical greyhound, Bill would love to join his people on one or two 20-minute walks per day. He wouldn’t say no to making friends around the neighbourhood too!
Foster Update | Big Hearted Bill is Looking for His Forever Home
It didn’t take long for Bill to be a family favourite in his foster home! This sweet, pepper-faced fellow has taken like a duck to water in his role as a companion. Living with a working family including three teenagers, Bill is happy to both lap up all attention as well as take it easy while he’s home alone.
In his foster home, where is the only dog, Bill has entertained himself happily for up to 10 hours. Bill enjoys his 20-minute walks around the neighbourhood, but if a walk is missed, he’s satisfied with a backyard zoomie session. Bill has also visited local café, and even a local pet store for a spa treatment!
Bill is polite with everyone he meets, excitedly greeting all of his favourites as they get home. Bill is a kindred soul with “his” teenagers; enjoying a good sleep-in just like them! “He’s lovely and calm inside too either shadowing us or snoozing depending on his mood.” His foster family say about this relaxed ‘hound.
Bill has mastered toilet training and sleeps peacefully through the night.
Bill loves playing with his soft toys and enjoys a yummy treat-filled Kong. Equally, Bill enjoys sunbaking on the grass.
