Chaplin is handsome enough to be a movie star and has big dreams of being in the spotlight of your life. His crew members will need to be over 14 years old for this cheeky boy, and although he loves his adoring fans, he can spend six or more hours alone getting his well-earned beauty rest. Chaplin knows the best actors have understudies – and he is willing to have a furry dog protégé that is medium or larger in size. Chaplin would enjoy one or two daily 20-minute strolls away from the paparazzi. Can Chaplin make it past this audition to be a lead role in your family?
To set Chaplin up for success, his forever and foster homes would be similar environments, and include;

Chaplin has been having a great time in foster being treated like the true movie star he is but he is now ready make is grand debut in a forever home. His foster humans sum him up as “a sweet boy who is always next to us” and we definitely agree!
Chaplin has mastered many aspects of pet life. He is toilet trained and takes himself outside when nature calls. He has also gotten the hang of politely walking on leash (although he appreciates a bit of a zigzaggy sniff now and then). His foster humans have reported that Chaplin has no issues being left alone for more than eight hours at time as long as he has a chew to keep him occupied.
Chaplin is a loyal hound who loves to be with his people. His foster humans have told us that he loves to give them “hugs and kisses”. They do lovingly call him a bit “clingy” as he’s eager to be involved and “help” with whatever activity his humans are doing. The only thing that may rival his love for people is his love for food and treats. His foster humans are yet to find anything Chaplin does not enjoy eating.
While Chaplin isn’t destructive, he has been known to rearrange and move items around the house to make it feel more like his own space. After all he does see it as his home too!
