Donkey Kong is a unique and handsome greyhound with a cheeky and smoochy personality all his own. Donkey Kong is a wonderful hound just waiting for the right person to help him shine! Donkey Kong could join a medium or larger canine house mate that matched his more confident personality. Donkey Kong has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Though he is not really into toys or treats, Donkey Kong LOVES pats and scritches, especially to his big, floppy ears! He’s all about the human attention and bonding time. Donkey would do best in a home where everyone is nine years old or older. This boy would love to take one or two 20-minute walks around the neighbourhood with you. These may turn out longer as Donkey Kong is a sniff connoisseur and wants to ensure every sniffy spot has been snuffed thoroughly. Donkey Kong is content to stay home alone for more than six hours at a time, snoozing away in a sunny spot or chewing a treat.
Donkey Kong is looking for a furever home that will fall in love with his confident, smoochy, and a little bit cheeky personality.
Donkey Kong Foster Update | Donkey Kong is ready to bounce into his furever home.
Donkey Kong has had a blast in his foster home but this happy playful boy is ready to bounce into his forever home. Donkey Kong has taken on pet life with his signature positive attitude and has made great strides in adapting. Donkey Kong is comfortable staying home alone for full time hours, has mastered his toilet training, and is improving his leash manners every day. According to his foster humans, Donkey Kong is would much rather be playing and socialising with people than sniffing trees on a slow walk.
Donkey Kong will need his future furever humans to continue to work on his greeting manners. He just gets so excited to meet new people that he forgets how big he is and wants to greet you with a big, bouncy, wriggly, “hello!”
Donkey Kong’s foster humans have fondly told us how much he loves the two children in the home. They have quickly become a trio of bestest friends and he will follow them around and getting involved in all their fun (and sometimes cheeky) antics. According to his foster humans, they are definitely his favourite people, and he usually chooses to curl up in his own bed in their bedroom every night.
