Friendly, playful, and social Flora is ready to plant herself in a home that will love her silly and bouncy nature. This girl has a personality and heart as big and beautiful as a sunflower. Despite her exuberance for life, Flora knows how to behave around smaller canines so she could share a home with a doggy “sibling” of any size. Flora has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Due to her bouncy playful nature, Flora would do best in a home with children aged nine and older, possibly younger if they are dog savvy and comfortable with larger breeds. Flora is not the kind of flower to wilt when left alone, she is content to be without her humans for up to six hours at a time. This could be lengthened with enrichment or canine company. Like a typical greyhound, Flora is content with one or two daily 20 minute walks through the nieghbourhood. However, they may be longer as Flora likes to “stop and smell the roses” and say hello to everyone she meets, human and dog alike.
