King is a fitting name for such a confident and regal greyhound. His perky ears form a large crown fit for any member of the royal family! King would do best with other greyhounds as noble companions. Small or medium sized dogs and felines may not be the right fit to govern by his side as he may forget his size (especially when zooming around in the halls of his castle with a toy). King’s ideal princes and princesses should be 14 years old or older with the ability to engage in dignified play with a hound of his stature. King loves his people but when he might forget his royal manners in the excitement! King enjoys the hustle and bustle of family life and would prefer to have his trusted advisors around him as much as possible. He could reign solo for up to three hours, more with canine company. King walks politely and lead and will happily trot by your side on one or two 20-minute walks to check on his surrounding kingdom.
King may be a confident and spirited monarch, but he is a playful and fun soul who thrives in the company of his people.
