Kirby can start off as a little bit shy and quiet, but she quickly powers up into a smoochy, friendly, and zoomie girl. Kirby would thrive in a home with a medium or large canine buddy to help show her the ropes of pet life and her new home. Kirby has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. The humans in Kirby’s home should be nine years old or older, as she prefers to avoid grabby hands and sudden hugs. She would love for you to give her some good scratches to her (very large) ears instead, and she is sure to thank you with kisses. Kirby could stay home alone for up to three hours, but this time could be improved with canine company, or as she settles into routine. Like a typical greyhound, after one or two daily 20 minute walks and a couple zooms around the backyard, Kirby is ready to snooze away the rest of the day in sunny spot or by your side.
If you’re looking for a lovely and easy-going girl who will no doubt blossom into a loyal companion, Kirby is your girl!
