What a face! You can’t help but to fall in love with this goofy guy and his fantastic ears. A lot of character in a gorgeous greyhound body, Lewis will quickly become a part of the family. Lewis and his social nature would make a great friend for a similar sized canine who can teach him all about pet life. He could potentially join a medium sized dog with the right introduction and management, he’s a playful guy! Lewis could join a home with kids from nine years old, where his goofy nature won’t be too intimidating. Lewis, being fairly independent, could occupy himself for six or more hours while his people are away. Lewis would love to show off his adorable ears on daily neighbourhood 20-minute jaunts. Lewis loves playing with toys and demonstrating his zoomie skills.

Lewis Foster Update | Lucky Lewis looking for lasting love

Lewis has been living it up in his foster home as they settle him into pet life and routine. His foster humans describe him as a “super friendly cool customer” and anyone who meets him is sure to agree. Lewis apparently loves a good pat and soaking in the attention of anyone, anywhere, at any time – he is a social, people lovin’ pup! He loves his people so much that he reportedly let his foster humans give him a bath without any complaint.

Lewis is getting the hang of many aspects that come with pet life. His toilet training is progressing along, and he has spent up to nine hours alone at home successfully. He is already accustomed to a full-time work lifestyle. According to his foster humans, Lewis is enjoying his trots around the neighbourhood and is becoming better and better on lead (although they say he does like a bit of a zigzag sniff now and then).

Lewis hopes his future family will supply him with numerous soft toys and are entertained by his unusual habit of carefully carrying them from bed to bed.
