Maui may start off a little shy and nervous, but once he warms up to you he as an absolutely delightful, silly, and curious boy that LOVES ear scritches. Maui has quickly become a favourite here at GAPWA because of his cheeky and playful personality with the team and volunteers. Maui would thrive with a confident medium or large canine buddy to show him the ropes and help ease him into pet life. Maui has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. All humans in Maui’s home should be 14 years old or older and understand that he will need time before he becomes your bestest friend (but we promise he will quickly become just that!). Maui is content to be in his own company for six or more hours at a time as long as he has a comfy dog bed and a treat to chew. Maui would love to join you on one or two 20 minute strolls through the neighbourhood a day, where he can take his time to sniff around and take in his surroundings.
Do you have the home and heart to help this lovely boy come out of his shell and blossom into the wonderful, playful, and cheeky boy we know he is?
