Our sweet Queenie is a shy but sweet girl with a big heart that is just waiting to bloom in her forever home. Queenie is currently thriving in her foster home environment and is now looking for her perfect furever home. At first, she can be a little timid and shy to people but with patience and love, Queenie becomes an affectionate hound who loves nothing more than cuddles, kisses, and zoomies. Queenie is a dog social hound who would do best with a confident canine companion of any size to show her the ropes of pet life. Queenie is gentle enough that she could even live alongside a feline housemate of the right temperament. She is still building her confidence so a home where all humans are nine years old or older and understand she needs a bit of time and space to come out of her shell is ideal. Queenie is happy to stay home alone for up to six hours at a time if she has a good Dentastix or Greenie to chew on. She also loves her daily 20 minute strolls through the neighbourhood where she can sniff around and lean against you now and then for a polite scritch.
Queenie has been successfully toilet trained in her foster home and is an absolute darling when it comes to leash manners.
