What Stumpy is missing in tail he makes up in heart and personality! This happy-go-lucky boy is a social butterfly who loves making new friends, both human and canine. Whether your dog is a tiny Jack Russell or a big Great Dane, Stumpy’s can fit right in with any dog housemate, as long as they don’t mind his playful nature. Stumpy has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Stumpy is a fan of all humans, but he is best suited to a home where everyone is 14 years old or older, as his excitement can sometimes make him forget his size and manners. Stumpy is content to entertain himself alone with a toy or a chew treat for up to six hours. This time could be improved with routine and a canine buddy for company. Stumpy would love to join you on one or two 20 minute daily walks through the neighbourhood where he could say hello to absolutely with his wiggly bum! Stumpy has Pannus, an eye condition which is easily treated with daily eye drops and does not affect his quality of life.
If you’re looking for a social, playful, and happy hound Stumpy is ready to bounce into your home.
