Whylie is an easy-going guy who enjoys a good balance between enjoying attention from his humans and independent relaxation. Whylie could join a medium or large canine ‘sibling’ that matched his laid-back personality. Whylie has been assessed as unable to go to a home with cats. Whylie would do best in a home where all humans were nine years old or older as he occasionally forgets not to bounce around smaller tots. Whylie isn’t into high-energy games like fetch or tug, he’s all about those soft moments of cuddles, smooches, and affection from his humans. With a good chew treat or a dog bed in a sunny spot, Whylie can stay home alone for up to six hours at a time. This could be improved with canine company and routine. Whylie already walks like a pro on leash and would love to show off his leash manners on one or two 20 minute daily walks around the neighbourhood. Fun fact: Whylie already knows how to sit and loves doing it to get extra pats and attention from his humans.
If you’re looking for a calm and affectionate companion to join your family, Whylie might be the perfect fit!
