It is hard not to fall head over heals in love with sweet boy Xylan as soon as you meet him. He is an old soul in a young greyhound body; sweet, polite, and full of gentlemanly charm. He may take a second to open up to new people, but with some good scritches and a bit of food he quickly becomes an affectionate loyal hound. Xylan’s politeness means he could share a home with any sized canine resident and could even share a home with cats. While Xylan is gentle with humans of all ages, he would be happiest in a home with children nine years old or older. He would like his humans to understand that he’s not one for boisterous or loud play. Xylan much prefers peaceful snuggles and relaxed activities where he can mosey around at his own pace. True to his laid-back nature, Xylan isn’t too fussed about being alone. He can comfortably stay home alone for up to six hours at a time, possibly longer with canine company. Like a typical greyhound, Xylan is content with one or two daily 20-minute strolls through the neighbourhood before returning home for a well deserved long snooze.
If you’re looking for a polite, loving, and absolutely delightful hound, Xylan will fit right into your life.
