Zen is a playful, loyal, and sweet greyhound with a lot of potential. While he’s still adjusting to the world of pet life and all its changes, he’s slowly growing more comfortable and showing glimpses of the loyal companion he is. Zen would be happiest as the only dog or with a confident greyhound to help him navigate the ropes of his new life. Humans in the home should be nine years old or older and understand that he is not interested in lots of hugs or touches. What he does LOVE are toys and chews. If you enjoy tossing a ball or soft toy, Zen will quickly become your best buddy and show you the happy-go-lucky pup he can be. Zen is perfectly content in his own company and is happy to stay home alone for more than six hours at a time. Zen isn’t a cuddler, but he will appreciate being by your side, quietly and curiously keeping watch over whatever you’re up to while chewing on a good treat.
If you’re looking for a loving and loyal companion who’s more of a “silent observer” (unless there are toys), Zen may be just the right fit for you.
