To start the month off with a bang we’re welcoming future adopters to the GAP WA Adoption Day this April 5.
Meet your potential forever ‘hound at the GAP Adoption Day. With their social, friendly natures Greyhounds make wonderful companions and suit a variety of homes. GAP can’t wait to welcome future adopters to our Southern River facility to meet our gorgeous greyhounds. Submit your Adoption Application to get started!
This event offers three one-hour Meet and Greet sessions; 9am, 10am, and 11am.
Meet and Greets: During the appointments attendees will be introduced to suitable dogs with the intention of welcome their greyhound home on the day. Submit your Adoption Application and confirm your session time with the GAP Team to secure your place. By submitting an Application the team can ensure we match you with suitable ‘hounds to meet at the event.

Most greyhounds only need one or two 20-minute walks per day.
Greyhounds can sleep for up to 20 hours a day.
While they all have their own personality, Greyhounds are generally affectionate and human-orientated dogs.
Our standard adoption fee is $200, but a $75 is offered for successful adoptions at this event.
